Mystic Smoke
This program has transformed the way I approach my art. There isn't much I can't do in this program. Love SPE.
I have 35 years of photography experience, worked professionally for an Int'l Corp. and freelance.
I got so very frustrated with labs. Digital finally gave me total control from click of the shutter to the final print. Shooting in RAW file format is another fantastic tool.
I forced myself to use SPE and SPE only for one year; the best thing I ever did for my art. Seldom, do I use anything else.
I have a showing of my work at the Columbia Center for the Arts in March. Every work of art is done with SPE.
I say this every chance I get; Thanks for developing this free flowing method/system. I appreciate the developers and the community.

Re: Mystic Smoke
Hi Wes,
The original is already an impressive image, love this kind of portraits! Expressive, strong and mystic all in one image.
Your creative processed result is stunning, cool use of the smoke effect, love it!
For anyone that like to know the name of the smoke effect;
Mystical Smoke - Hardlight <- This one is used
Mystical Smoke - Inverse Changes
I've also tagged them now as Smoke, something I forgot in the past
Cool your work of art will be shown at the Columbia Center for the Arts this March, too bad it's too far away for me to travel (living in the Netherlands) wish you good luck!
Maybe an idea to take a snapshot of your shown artwork to post here? Would love to see some
Kind regards,
Arwin

Re: Mystic Smoke
Thanks Arwin,
I appreciate that you pointed out the effect. Some of my work is rather complicated and difficult to explain (ten words or less. LOL).
The bleu cast was accomplished with Infrared Winter and various "tweeks". The eyes were masked out.
I am remiss also in giving credit to the developers of the effects. THANK you for your creativity and creation of these effects.
Yeah, the Neatherlands is a bit out of your way. I lived in Italy near Venice for several years and miss Europe. I had an invitation to show my work at a gallery in Venice but couldn't afford it at the time.
Keep up the good work.

Re: Mystic Smoke
Hi Wes,
Do you mind if I would use your original G Fm GthEyes MakeUpCindyL 520.jpg as example photo here at the forum (and maybe in a tutorial video) for some effects I'm creating?
Used your photo for creating the Customizable Mirroring Effect as the photo was perfect for that purpose, now I'm still using it because some new effects I'm creating derive direct from that effect
Sure I'll add your name to credit, but if you, for any reason, not want me to use the photo as example, let me know.
Regards,
Arwin

Re: Mystic Smoke
Hi Arwin,
Regarding using my images. I have no problem with that.
I checked out the customizable mirror effect. Something I would use. I use my own method, but your effect would work easier.

Re: Mystic Smoke
Hi Wes,
Did you check the video tutorial or the actual effect itself? Cause for me the effect is still not active
I asking myself, did I did someting wrong while uploading, is the effect rejected or did Tony not found the time to activate the effect yet!
Thank you for being able to use your photo!
Cheers,
Arwin
