.dng files

Postby RRodgers » Tue Feb 24, 2015 3:27 am

My .dng files won't load. I have just upgraded from standard to studio edition but they won't load in either. Any ideas?

No problem with my DNG files. What camera are you using and how were the DNG files created?

I used a Canon 60D. I opened the raw file in Bridge and saved my changes which gives a .dng extension. Then I can't open it in SP.

I don't use Bridge so I don't exactly know what's going on there. Does that use Camera Raw? Can you make them tiffs and then see if they open? Do you have the latest Camera Raw version?

Bridge is part of Photoshop and it does have Camera Raw. I don't know if I can make then tiffs, however SP sent me a download link to convert my photos to solve the issue. :P

How did you resolve it? I would like to know for future reference, so I can aid people if this problem occurs again.

I think it was solved by using the Adobe converter link I was sent.
