IMAGE TO SELECTION
The Image to Selection node lets you convert an image into a selection. This node is typically used in conjunction with Selection to Image, to obtain a selection as a picture. You can then use any of the existing nodes on it (like blur for example), then turn it back into a selection for later use (you might call the new selection 'soft subject' for example). This means you can manipulate selections (like softening the edges of them), if you think your effect would work better on a manipulated version of the selection rather than the one the user provides.
The first input of the Image to selection node should connect to your image. For the second input, give the image you want to turn back into a selection. Selections can only be single channel images. Some nodes will turn an image into a multi-channel image which means you wont be able to attach it to the second input. If this is the case, you'll need an RGB splitter node which splits a Multi-Channel image into its separate single channels.
The Name option lets you name your selection.
