Saving Manual Edits
Hello,
Having a problem with Manual Edit. Just can’t seem to figure how to “save” the effects on an image when I have removed an element. Case in point I like the “Crofton best watercolor 2014” but without the “Grunge” and the “Border” I can remove both in the editor but for the life of me I can’t “save” the displayed image without having all of the original effects still in place.
By the way I used the publish feature, you name it, nothing, the “edited” effect on the final saved image is the same as the original “Crofton best watercolor 2014”
Help Please!

Hi,
After removing nodes, did you join up the last node remaining with the effect output?

Hi Choctaw,
You only have to remove the nodes as shown in the image below and reconnect the Normal Merge node to the Tone node
Effect will work right away, publishing is not needed unless it is intended to.
Just save your work as session to be able to reopen the project!
Hope this will get you on track

Tony,
At first I didn't, but figured part that out finally. It was all in the save process that really gave me fits if I would crash for some reason it would happen that my "saved" preset would go away, Solved that by always "saving" a custom preset right a way. I think I might reinstall the program as it feels a little buggy at the moment.
Great program though, worth getting to know and learn...
Thanks your input!

Arwin,
Thanks for the "edit" schematic, had just gotten there before your post, but still wasn't sure I was leaving something so it helped confirm I got it right!
Here is the "new" effect in action below...
