The Quantiser node was designed as a simple method of image segmentation. The Areas slider lets you segmentate up to 8 different areas in your image, while the Area tweak slider will allow you to refine them.
The Method button will give you the option to convert your segmented areas into:
- White on black
- Black on white
- White on grey
- Black on grey
