Program crashes
Usually I don't "scream" BUT after working on and having the program crash 3 times and losing all the work I do have to "scream" out my frustration with program. Not the first time I've had crashes but enough is enough, yikes!
Ok, thank you for hearing me. NOW moving forward can this all be remedied or???

Re: Program crashes
Dear Well,
Really sorry to hear you've found the software crashing. We did do a new release recently that fixes a crashing bug (version 1.21.15), did you try that one? If that one is causing problems we would like to know so we can fix them. If it is causing problems, you can download an old version using these links:
64 bit windows
Standard edition:
http://cloudfront.portraitprofessional. ... etup64.exe
Studio edition:
http://cloudfront.portraitprofessional. ... etup64.exe
32 bit windows
Standard edition:
http://cloudfront.portraitprofessional. ... rSetup.exe
Studio edition:
http://cloudfront.portraitprofessional. ... oSetup.exe
Really sorry for the problems caused. The old versions were used without problems for a long time, so we should be able to get you back up to speed.
Kind regards,
Tony

Re: Program crashes
Hello Tony,
Thank you for your prompt and kind reply. I apologize for penning my message in the heat of frustration. Ok, onward; I'm running SPE v1.21; perhaps this version is crashing more as a new user I'm really not sure. Effect that gave issue was "Painting", currently on pg. 8 and listed under Artist category; after several days of trying to use and continuous crashing I gave up on it yesterday. Hope this detail is helpful.
Again thank you,
Well

Re: Program crashes
Hi Well
Thanks for your reply. I understand your frustration. I'm not sure which version of 1.21 you are running (there's another number after the 1.21.). You can always go back to the previous version (1.20.6), which is very stable. The only improvement in 1.21 was to try and fix an issue to do with file dialog boxes that only affected a minority of users, so there's no urgent reason to go to 1.21.
Kind regards,
Tony
